Are you interested in bringing hands-on Great Lakes education to your classroom or community?
The Superior Watershed Partnership (SWP) is a K-12 leader in Great Lakes environmental education, offering engaging, hands-on, place-based learning experiences that connect students (of all ages) to the Great Lakes watershed. SWP’s educational programs are grounded in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) skills and engages students to solve real environmental challenges facing communities and the Great Lakes through meaningful, hands-on activities including environmental monitoring, habitat restoration, 3-D watershed planning, community pollution prevention, solar energy, arts integration, and more. These experiences strengthen environmental literacy while supporting mental and physical well-being, problem-solving, and a deeper connection to nature. Whether working with schools, youth programs or community groups, SWP makes learning relevant, impactful and fun—empowering participants to become informed stewards of their communities and the Great Lakes.
