MichiganGREEN

The expertise of the Michigan GREEN collaboration, will mark an important step forward in Michigan's effort to become America's epicenter for alternative energy development. Michigan GREEN grew out of an energy program that began four years ago. In 2002, the M-TEC at Bay College submitted a grant proposal to the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) to establish a revolving loan program for energy efficiency projects at schools and local governments. Now, three grants (totaling $2.95 million) and forty eight energy projects later, the M-TEC at Bay College has ended its Northern Lights Energy Program (NLEP).
